Reading can be challenging. It is a relatively recent skill in our evolutionary timeline, and not all brains have fully adapted to the intricacies of decoding symbols and processing written language.
At the root of my approach is the belief in one fundamental principle: all individuals can learn.
I've been dedicated to supporting students who face reading challenges and their families as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, instructional advisor, and MTSS coordinator.
My approach extends beyond academic growth— I am dedicated to the holistic development of each student. Having worked with a diverse range of abilities, witnessing a student’s confidence grows alongside their reading skills brings me immense joy.
I believe in making learning an enjoyable experience for every child. This is especially crucial for those who have faced challenges with a particular skill or subject. Through engaging activities and a supportive learning environment, I strive to instill a love for reading in every child I work with.
I am looking forward to working with you and your family!
