  • Taylor is a true professional and an amazing resource for parents. Our child just turned five and has trouble focusing at times - our little one does have hyperlexia which (with Taylor's guidance) we are working to 'break' and to teach our kiddo how to pronounce words - by sounding them out. Taylor works by implementing different methods (she has a lot of materials) to teach parts of words (she comes prepared with all these materials, she is always on time, and has never cancelled once in 5 months, never leaves early nor is she ever distracted in session. We never feel like she is in a rush). Taylor is extremely knowledgeable and very gentle - somehow gets our little one to focus on reading that may be 'dry' or hard. Any feedback we have given Taylor (like maybe don't use a timer when our kiddo is trying to avoid a task, because then the request for the timer came up a lot) is received with respect and understanding. We have also worked with other tutors at Sprout and found those sessions to be amazing as well. We feel extremely lucky to have found Sprout Reading intervention. It is at the point now when our little one asks every morning if 'reading taylor' or one of the 'reading teachers' is coming today.
